SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY.

Our methodology is a 4-step approach that uses a battery of football-specific drills to evaluate the technique, identify risks and proactively modify behaviors to reduce the number of head impacts

01

Baseline
assessment

Players are filmed while performing  4 different contact drills intended to assess their ability to engage in safe contact. The drills simulate either as  tackle or block performed in a semi-controlled environment.

02

Follow-up
analysis

The video clips are analyzed using a standardized scoring system for each drill. With the analysis, we identify technical strengths and weaknesses at both the individual and team level.

03

Feedback
and education

Our team provides in-depth feedback using performance reports and video sequences to highlight specific challenge areas. The reports emphasize blocking/tackling elements that require more practice to reduce the risk of exposure to repetitive head impacts at the team and individual levels.

04

DATA-DRIVEN
INTERVENTION

Data collected during the assessment is used to design a proactive intervention protocol to be implemented by the team. This intervention is customized to the players' needs, an essential element in reducing the risk of exposure to head impacts. Subsequently, data from helmet accelerometers can be used to assess the efficacy of our intervention and to provide players with an objective and complete evaluation of their risk of injury on the football field.
