Athletes aged between 11-24 can fill the survey. Parents have to give consent for athletes below the age of 14 . Parents and coaches of athletes of
all ages are welcome to fill the survey.

The purpose of volunteering in this research project

The goal of the study is to understand how athletes have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to learn about how athletes’ lives have changed during the pandemic. We also want to know what athletes are doing to cope and how their families and coaches are supporting them.

The present research project is associated with the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, at McGill University – Montreal, QC.

PhD candidate, School/Applied Child Psychology

Marie-Michelle is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in School/Applied Child Psychology at McGill University. Her emerging clinical expertise includes working with children and adolescents with various mental health and learning challenges, athletes, and youth experiencing post-concussion syndrome.

Marie-Michelle is the principal investigator of the research project titled Positive youth development and youth sports during the COVID-19 Pandemic which is supervised by Dr. Steven Shaw, Associate Professor, Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology.
